Ronald Deusinger, Germany
Mr. Deusinger is a member of the management team of confero, the leading independent German advisor
for the banking and fund management industry. Over the course of his 20-year career in banking &
consulting, Mr. Deusinger has become a specialist in designing and building operational management
systems for custody and securities operations, including Repos and Securities Lending, Collateral
Management, Trading and Derivatives. Prior to joining confero, Mr. Deusinger also held senior
positions with Ernst & Young, European Transaction Bank (etb), Commerz Financial Products GmbH
and Commerzbank AG.
Mr. Deusinger has significant management consulting experience in the areas of migration projects,
founding and structuring of new entities, operational turnarounds, in- and outsourcing, Service
Level Agreements, cost reduction and Process Reengineering as well as Activity-based Costing /
Management. He is a member of various Clearing- and User committees; former registered Trader on
the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and EUREX and is a lecturer and author on Settlements and operational
quality.

Adolf Dörig, Switzerland
Mr. Dörig has over twenty years experience in the consulting and
risk management fields, advising clients on information system
reengineering and risk management in the financial services,
high-tech, pharmaceutical and telecommunications industries. Beginning his career at Zurich Financial Services as Head “Ressort
Systems Engineering” leading 15 engineers, his other positions
include Partner at both Price Waterhouse and Arthur Andersen and
Senior Partner at Ernst & Young. During his tenure at Price
Waterhouse and Arthur Andersen, Mr. Dörig was responsible for
successfully developing and building up several new expert units
dealing with risk management. Prior to his responsibility as the
Managing Partner of Pukall Doerig + Partner Mr.
Dörig was a Deloitte Partner responsible for Enterprise Risk
Services in Switzerland. Mr. Dörig is a frequent speaker at
Business, ICT and Risk Management events. He graduated with a B.S.
in mechanical engineering at the University of Applied Sciences, Rapperswil, Switzerland and completed post graduate studies in
systems engineering.

Jeff Katz, United Kingdom
Mr. Katz started his career with an intelligence branch of the U.S. Air Force from 1968 until 1973,
where he was based in the United Kingdom. He then became a journalist in the U.S., but returned to the
UK in 1979 to accept a position as deputy editor of a British provincial newspaper. He joined Kroll
Associates in London in 1987 and by 1995 became the Director of European Operations. The following year
he was named UK country Head. After leaving Kroll Associates in 1998, Mr. Katz became Chief Executive of
the Bishop Group in 1999. He has been responsible for hundreds of sensitive inquiries, ranging from due
diligence concerning controversial public figures and contested takeover battles to investigations
concerning homicide and political corruption. Mr. Katz holds an undergraduate degree from the City
University of New York.

Jerry Luftman, United
States
Dr. Luftman is a Distinguished Professor at Stevens Institute of Technology, School of Management and the
Associate Dean for Stevens’ Information Systems programs. In this capacity, Luftman manages and conducts
projects, research, and executive programs about business-IT alignment. Prior to his work at Stevens, Dr. Luftman
worked at IBM as a program manager at the Advanced Business Institute, where he played a significant role in
defining and introducing IBM’s Management Consulting Group. He has had success as a CIO, Management Consultant,
and academic. His framework for assessing strategic alignment maturity is fundamental in helping clients
achieve the management, technology and business process changes required to realize improved IT-business
integration. He is the SIM VP of Chapter Relations and the NJ Chapter President. Dr. Luftman has authored
or co-authored ten books.

Samuel Preston, United States
Over the span of his 30-year career, Mr. Preston has held senior positions globally for organizations
including Rabobank, Chase Manhattan, Salomon Brothers and NIB Capital Bank. His area of expertise encompasses
Operations and IT Strategy, Business Turnarounds, Capital Market and Treasury operations, Custody and Securities
operations, Audit Controls and Quality Control, Payments and Cash Management operations, Outsourcing and Insourcing as well as marketing for transaction-based businesses. Mr. Preston holds an MBA from Wharton
Business School and a BA from Washington and Lee University. He is a lecturer and author on Operational Risk,
Settlements and Operational Quality.

Bill Roberts, United States
Mr. Roberts is a senior executive with over 40 years experience in US governmental relations, policy management,
and lobbying / advocacy in Washington, DC. A specialist in Internal Governmental Policy and Operations Management,
Mr., Roberts has worked with leaders at the highest level in the Executive and Legislative Branches of US Government. He has extensive experience developing and managing government programs and building congressional relations for
corporate clients, and has built a strong working relationship over the years with key Capitol Hill staffers and
members of Congress. He is currently a business strategy consultant in the Washington DC area.

Debra Sherwin, United States
Professor Sherwin has served over 20 years as Associate Professor of Economics and Management at Goucher College, a
private liberal arts university located in Maryland. Her academic areas of specialty include courses in accounting,
small business management, and taxation. She is recognized for her outstanding leadership in education, and has been
awarded the Certificate in Excellence in Economic Education presented by the Freedoms Foundation. Professor Sherwin
is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Maryland, and has served as Vice President of Sherwin Consulting, a
consulting firm specializing in quality assurance processes for the hospitality industry. Professor Sherwin has served
as an advisor to various management and service businesses. She earned a B.S. from Kent State University, an M.B.A.
from University of Baltimore and a M.Ed. from Goucher College.

Mark W. Sickles, United States
Mark W. Sickles is an advisor to boards of directors and top management
teams, and founding principal of Mark W. Sickles, LLC. (www.markwsickles.com) He is the author of Shareholder Value Assurance — The Cure
for Enronitis and The Mark W. Sickles Handbook for Well-Intended
Boards and Directors, plus numerous articles on achieving long-term
shareholder value, including Tool Kit for the Post-Enron Board. Mark has served as adjunct professor and faculty member at The Singapore
Institute of Management, American Management Association, and Rutgers
University. He currently is an adjunct professor and advisory board
member of Inside the Boardroom at Drexel University’s LeBow
College of Business, where he teaches his newly designed corporate
governance certification course to boards and senior management
teams. Having served as a Fortune 500 “C” level executive and
corporate officer, Mark is also the founding President and CEO of
the New Jersey Chapter of the National Association of Corporate

Arnoud Douw, Switzerland
With
nearly 20 years experience in the reinsurance and insurance industry, Arnoud started his career with Swiss Re, where he began as an Underwriter and held positions as Chief of Staff at the headquarters of Swiss Re. He was an Executive Manager and a COO of Swiss Re Africa in Johannesburg, where he founded and build the continental Shared Service Centre. He acquired proven international operational leadership and project leadership experience on an executive level also as Global Management Development Manager of Swiss Re and as Operations Manager of the Swiss Aviation Insurance Pool. Before joining Trestle Group, Arnoud was the Deputy CEO of an international outsourcing enterprise in the field of insurance and reinsurance. He has years of experience in managing multi-cultural departments and projects across Europe and the globe. To this he has added experience in world-wide human resource projects, client relationship management and leadership questions. Arnoud holds a Dutch and a Swiss passport, studied mechanical engineering at the ETH Zürich and he speaks besides his mother tongues German, English and Dutch also French and Spanish.

Bernhard Janischowsky, Germany
Mr. Janischowsky has enjoyed a truly global professional career, having begun as an Industrial Engineer in Dallas, Texas. Thereafter, he moved to Spain to join the German engineering group Bosch International, where he was directly responsible
for the design and development of manufacturing processes for quality certification. He then moved into consulting,
advising on the reengineering of corporate strategy of former East German state-owned conglomerates. He was later
recruited into Arthur Andersen Business Consulting in Frankfurt, Germany to manage a variety of international
projects in the areas of process design and IT strategy. After five years with Arthur Andersen he and three partners
founded ecovista, a company focused on planning and implementing large scale IT projects for international clients. Building upon this success, Mr. Janischowsky co-founded Trestle Group. Mr. Janischowsky holds a degree as Industrial
Engineer from the University Erlangen-Nuernberg in
Germany and an M.B.A. from London Business School.

Ralph Schonenbach, Germany
Mr. Schonenbach is the CEO of Trestle Group and on the Board of Trestle Group Foundation. He has held senior positions
with the firms Andersen and Ernst & Young. Over the span of his career, he has established several successful
consulting practices with a primary focus in the financial services industry and has advised high-level executives
around the world on how to transform the way they manage and deliver services, as well as how to tackle the
pressures brought about by resource constraints. Through Trestle Group Foundation, he is passionately involved
with providing support to both women and emerging entrepreneurs in developing countries. Mr. Schonenbach frequently speaks at conferences and has authored a variety of publications. Mr. Schonenbach earned
a degree in Business Management from Goucher College.

Dana Smith, Switzerland
Prior to joining Trestle Group, Mr. Dana Smith served as public affairs professional with extensive
experience in non-profit administration, governmental relations, public affairs, strategic planning,
communications and media relations. Mr. Smith has worked with government leaders at the highest
level in the Executive and Legislative branches in the State of Ohio, as well as with key Members
of Congress at the federal level in the United States. He has extensive experience developing
and managing legislative programs, strategic communication efforts and public awareness campaigns
on behalf of a broad range of clients including non-profit organizations, Fortune 100 companies,
as well as state and national trade associations. Mr. Smith earned a B.A. degree in Political
Science from The Ohio State University and he currently resides with his wife Elizabeth in London. Mr. Smith serves as Executive Director of Trestle Group Foundation.

Jan Uetz, Switzerland
18 years of global professional exposure to diverse fields ranging from Business Administration and Management to IT Professional Services have made Jan Uetz a well-rounded individual. His experience in the ICT Industry has been gained from years of professional service covering many domains, such as project and product management for enterprise-scale IT hardware and software projects, consulting for and management of IT-related sourcing projects, conception and development of software, as well as conceptualization and implementation of workflow and data processes. He was the Managing Director of a Swiss service company in the ICT industry for nine years, specializing in customer oriented, Internet-based communications solutions and business applications, servicing a.o. also governmental and non-profit organizations. He has worked for Yamaha Corporation, Japan, the Swiss Red Cross, The Collective NYC in New York, and has extensive experience with Far East and low-cost countries (Japan, Philippines, India, Ukraine, Belarus a.o.). Mr. Uetz holds an M.B.A. degree from Business School Lausanne.
